Eunhyuk to Halt Activities After Swine Flu Diagnosis

The swine flu sure does get around. SM Entertainment has confirmed that Super Junior’s “dance machine,” Eunhyuk, has contracted the infamous virus.
Eunhyuk went to the hospital after experiencing cold-like symptoms and once the diagnosis was verified he was ordered to rest and halt his activities. While it’s unknown whether filming for the Teuk-Academy corner of Strong Heart will be affected, he will certainly miss recording KBS’s Super Junior Kiss the Radio.
Eunhyuk was also supposed to make an appearance at SNSD’s concert on the 27th and 28th, but that’s clearly not possible. Luckily his hyungs Leeteuk and Heechul will be available to perform in his stead.
Let’s all wish Eunhyuk a strong recovery so he can dance and bring us laughter once again!

SNSD and Super Junior #1 on the New GaOn Charts
The GaOn Charts, Korea’s first official music charts, was recently launched to allow both fans and artists to enhance their experience with K-pop music and to further spread it worldwide.
The GaOn Charts are a Korean version of well known United States’ Billboard Charts & the Japan’s Oricon, which are a few decades old.
The name “GaOn”,which means “middle” in Korean, was chosen as it represent both fairness and reliability. Although it is laying far back from its counterparts,in terms of both achievement and popularity,it is believed that it will work well.
It was stated that GaOn Charts are still under development and need to be polished even further to catch up with both Billboard Charts and Oricon. At the moment,GaOn Charts are only available in Korean language and thus still far away from getting acknowledge worldwide.
What makes the GaOn Charts stand out from the other two is that it categorizes based on online and offline sales, rather than on music genres.
Refer to here to read up more on how the charts are going to work. Do visit the GaOn Chart when you got the spare time!
In celebration of the Gaon Chart’s launch, So Nyuh Shi Dae and Super Junior were invited to the event and were awarded #1 for both the digital and album category in 2009,with their respective hit singles,”Gee” and “Sorry Sorry“.
On the other hand, Brown Eyed Girls‘ GaIn and 2AM’s JoKwon’s duet song ‘We Fell In Love‘ grabbed the #1 spot of both the ringer tone and streaming awards for the first two weeks of 2010. Despite receiving the honor, JoKwon was unable to attend the event as he has to film for SBS Family Outing 2.

Super Junior Touched By Taiwan Fans
Super Junior recently held the last stop of their Asia Tour “Super Show 2“ concert in Taipei for two consecutive days, receiving overwhelming response from the passionate Taiwanese fans.
Super Junior, excluding members Hankyung, Kangin and Kibum who couldn’t participate due to various reasons; had given their best at the concert. At the end of the concert, Super Junior promised the fans that they will be back again.
Although this was the first time Super Junior held a concert in Taipei, they felt that it was the most exciting ones. The fans’ eyes were caught on their performances thoroughly.
Despite the embarrassment, they spoke in Mandarin to their very best to show their closeness with the Taiwanese fans.
Super Junior’s members such as Leeteuk, Donghae and Eunhyuk dropped tears as they were touched by the lively atmosphere during the performances, while Kyuhyun and ZhouMi held on their tears in the eyes, refusing to let it drop down their cheeks.
Super Junior’s special performances at the concert had caused the audience to burst out in laughter. Shindong purposely dropped his wig while dancing on stage. Heechul, Ryeowook, Donghae and the others members crossdressed, in which fans couldn’t control their excitement and screamed out for them . In addition, Siwon showed off his chocolate abs to the fans and even introduced his “elder brother” Vanness Wu on stage.
The boys had stayed indoor in Taiwan for 4 days, requesting for room services all the while and did not go anywhere else other than to the concert. Reports stated that they will be leaving Taiwan on 22nd February in two groups, 8:10AM and 2:35PM respectively.

Super Junior Siwon on the Set of “Oh! My Lady”
Super Junior very own gentleman Choi Siwon has been casted with SBS new drama Oh! My Lady with actresses Park Chae Rim and Park Han Byul. Just ending his birthday, Siwon’s schedule seems to be already busy with his filming for his new drama. Shall we visit him on the set?
Siwon plays a rude character that loved a woman but suddenly left him to go abroad, who will be played by Han Byul. The role seems fitting for this hunky, gentleman and I am anticipating to see his acting skills. With many dramas starring idol groups lately, do you think this will be a huge hit? This drama already entered my must-watch list.
Taiwan Loves Super Junior
Yes they do, very much. To the point that they were pushing each other and climbing up the barricaded gates to welcome Super Junior in Taiwan for their Taipei concert. Super Junior members arrived in Taiwan with different time schedules, leading the organizers to hire over 50 guards and some working students. The scene was uncontrollable, making Taoyuan Airport the busiest location during Lunar New Year.
The airport was flooded with more than 1500 fans. Super Junior has really expanded and touched bases in different parts of Asia, and Taiwan is one of them. The support that the fans gave to Super Junior was overwhelming, that it left Super Junior members speechless. The guards were frustrated to hold more than 1,000 fans and the whole scenario turned into one crazy event. Some fans were just chanting to keep pushing, venting their anger towards most of the guards.
Some fans were irritated as to claim to never support any idol groups because of how chaotic the scene was. Was it really the celebrities fault or the intensity of the fans love for their favorite idol group? Granted that we all want to see our favorite celebrities, but giving them some personal space wouldn’t hurt, right? Even with various blockages, Taiwan and Korean guards, working students and the staff, it was still impossible for them to put a strong hold against the fans. This all the more shows that Super Junior charms have reached Asian-wide. Super Junior must have felt the love and the support they received that day, however, I’m pretty sure they were more concern about the safety of their dear ELFs.
Super Junior members were seen headed off to Sherwood Hotel in where they will rehearse for their concert. Amidst the controversies they have been getting into, Super Junior expansion seems unstoppable still.
Super Junior’s Concert in Taiwan
Super Junior, a South Korean idol group under SM Entertainment, who brought the “Sorry Sorry” fever not only in Korea, but also in Taiwan, will be having their last performance of their Asia Tour in Taipei in the next 2 days.
This will mark the first ever concert to be held in Taiwan’s Super Dome in this year of the Tiger.
It has also been confirmed that Super Junior will become Taiwan’s official tourism ambassador.
The concert tickets for Suju’s first concert in Taiwan were sold out as soon as they were released.
Suju’s members have learnt more about the Chinese’s culture from fellow chinese member, Hangeng, better known as “Hankyung“.
Thus, Super Junior are looking forward to celebrating the Lunar New Year with their fans at the concert, which happens to be on the Chinese New Year itself.
Now for the bad news, it has been reported by the organizers that Super Junior’s first concert titled “Super Show 2″ in Taiwan will only involve 10 of the members.
Hankyung, Kangin and Kibum will not be taking part.
Hence fans were so disappointed that they felt emotional, they stated on the official website that Hankyung did not fulfill his promise of celebrating the New Year with them.

CNY fever !!!
Going back to KL tomorrow afternoon i guess.. Thx a lot to my "bapa angkat" once again for giving me a lot of money (RM500 !!!). I might be a little cold to u but in my heart i really appreciate you. I promise i will be good and "balas ur budi" in the future after i work.
On the 5th day of CNY, Poh Yee will be coming to my house after visiting Berjaya UCH and shopping at Times Square to gamble again XD We will be playing mahjong and card as well. Hehe.. Hope my luck is with me this time >.<
Well, although i'm happy enjoying this CNY, but the fact i am sad and crying inside my heart. I had done everything to make him come back to me this Valentine (yesterday..), but i guess i failed. And from that moment, i think i have to move on and face the fact that he will never ever look at me again.
I'm gonna face college life this coming April 2010. I hope i'll able to catch up the syllabus. Because honestly, deep inside my heart i afraid i can't handle the cooking part. But after getting advises and courage from my tuition teachers, my mum, my SBS seniors, friends and Berjaya lecturers, i think i can handle it as practice makes perfect ^^
Anyway, gotta go now for dinner later. HAPPY TIGER YEAR EVERYONE !!!
